In a bitter struggle, the Swedish team Telefónica Black was able to wrest victory from the rivals and the first to cross the finish line of the tenth, the last stage of the round-the-world regatta Volvo Ocean Race,leaving behind 37,000 nautical miles.

The same evening, on the beach of the Hare Island, a solemn ceremony of rewarding the participants of the round-the-world regatta Volvo Ocean Race 2009, which started on October 11, 2008, took place.
