The corvette NRP General Pereira D'Eça (F477) was built at the German shipyard Blohm & Voss and launched in July 1969. It was commissioned into the Portuguese Navy on October 10, 1970. It was decommissioned and sunk as an artificial reef off the coast of Madeira Island in 2016.
