The corvette NRP Augusto de Castilho (F484) was built at the Bazán shipyard in Spain and launched in July 1969. It was commissioned into the Portuguese Navy on November 14, 1970. It was decommissioned and sold for scrap to the metalworking company RAPLUS in 2011.
