COGLAG

Combined gas-electric and gas (COGLAG) is a modification of the combined gas propulsion systems for ships.

At low speeds and cruising, electric propulsion by a turbo-electric system using a gas turbine engine is used, and at high speeds, mechanical drive by a gas turbine engine is also used to obtain thrust.
