Congolese Navy

The Navy of the Republic of the Congo controls the maritime space of the Republic of the Congo, its 169 km of coastline and the Congo River.

The Navy of the Republic of the Congo has 3 naval bases in Pointe-Noire, Brazzaville and Mozac, and its number in 2011 was 800 people, including 600 marines. The functions of the units are divided between coastal, sea and river means.
