New cruise liner Carnival Magic for the Carnival Cruise Lines company

The American group Carnival Corporation and the shipyard Fincantieri recently reached an agreement on the construction of a new cruise liner with a displacement of 130,000 tons for the Carnival Cruise Lines brand. Passenger ship will be called Carnival Magic. The liner will be built at the shipyard in Monfalcone and is scheduled for commissioning in the spring of 2011.

The Carnival Magic liner under construction will become the second vessel of the Dream class and will complement the fleet of passenger ships of the Carnival Cruise Lines company. The main ship Carnival Dream was launched on September 21, 2009.

The keel of the Carnival Magic cruise liner was laid on January 12, 2010. Unlike its predecessor, ship will have 1845 cabins more for passengers, and will also increase the number of cabins for staff at 746.

Liners of Dream class are the first passenger ships in the Carnival Cruise Lines company, which have a wide selection of cabins and four water parks with a spiral water slide.

The Carnival Magic liner will become a floating SPA-resort of a new generation in the world industry of sea voyages, where passengers can combine all the pleasures of a cruise vacation. On board the liner there will be first-class restaurants, sushi bar, lobby bar, Ice cream bar, European cafe and 24-hour pizzeria. For fans: swimming pools, SPA center, water aerobics, treadmill on the upper deck, fitness center and a gym will always be available in sports form. For women: beauty salons with a wide range of services, special programs for healing and anti-stress therapy and various types of massage. In the evening, the liner guests can go to casinos, clubs or watch Las Vegas-style show and exclusive entertainment programs with music of various genres. During the day, passengers will take a stroll along the deck of the liner, visiting the atrium, cinema, art gallery, Internet cafes, library, boutiques and shops. For the youngest guests will be given a variety of play areas, board games, toys and computer games.

On the Carnival Magic liner there will be a large number of cabins with a view to the sea and two bathrooms. The area of passenger cabins will be from 19 to 76 square meters. Meters and all of them will have TVs with satellite broadcast of television programs, an internal phone, cabinets, tables and other furniture. Also, they will be equipped with ventilation with individual control and maintenance of the given microclimate.

In its first voyage the Carnival Magic liner will depart in the summer of 2011 through the Mediterranean. He will perform seven-, nine-, and twelve-day sea cruises, which will take their origin from the port of Barcelona or Venice. In the winter months, sea voyages continue along the Caribbean Sea.

Liners of the Dream class will become the largest vessels that are built on the Italian shipyard Fincantieri. Fincantieri is the world leader in the sector. At the shipyards of the enterprise, 50 cruise liners have been built since 1990 for various companies and 13 more passenger ships will be built in the period until 2012.
