Injectors inject fuel, and spark plugs ignite the mixture. The exhaust gases rush backward, causing the turbine to rotate, which in turn drives the compressor.

The turbine generates a huge amount of energy using very few parts. They all rotate in the same direction around a single shaft. The race covers a distance of 10 km, which has a dangerous section: a 45-degree turn. Ten “laps” must be completed. On the eve of the races, each motorboat is given a four-hour trial run.
